Your privacy is very important to us and Feed Drum is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your data is collected, used, and safeguarded when you use the mobile application (the “App”) or any other related services. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Only information necessary for providing the functionality is collected. This includes Account Information such as Email addresses and any other details provided through email login, Google login, Apple login, or other authentication methods, non-personally identifiable information about the device (such as device type, operating system, and app version) which may be collected to enhance the App’s performance and your preferences which may be collected and saved to provide you a better service.
The information collected is used to deliver and improve the services provided by the App by using the collected information for Identity verification during login or signup, enabling access to features like personalized news feeds and sharing capabilities, addressing support requests or inquiries and ensuring smooth and secure operation of the App.
User information is not sold, rented, or traded. It is shared only under the following circumstances.
With Service Providers: Information may be shared with third-party providers (e.g., for authentication or hosting) to help provide a better service for the users.
As Required by Law: Sharing may occur to comply with legal obligations or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Feed Drum, its users, or others.
When login is performed using third-party services such as Google or Apple, only the information necessary for authentication is accessed, as permitted by the privacy policies of those services. Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies of these services to understand their data practices.
Reasonable measures are implemented to protect user information from unauthorized access disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, it should be noted that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Users can request to delete their account. Once an account is deleted all user preferences and news sources will be discarded permanently. Some non-personally identifiable information may be retained to ensure proper account deletion and smooth functionality of the service. Data may be retained for legal compliance requirements as well.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will take effect immediately upon being posted within the App. Continued use of the App indicates acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. Users are encouraged to check this document from time to time.

You can always request to delete the account. Account deletion can be done through the App. Please follow the steps in the relevant section to delete your account.
Please note that when you delete your account, all your saved sources and groups you have created will be permanently deleted. Your username will be removed from the system and you will not be able to access services of the App without creating a new account. Upon account deletion, some anonymous data such as reason for account deletion, optional comments you may provide and time of account deletion may be retained for the purposes of improving the product offered. Some data might be retained for legal compliance reasons as well.
Open Feed Drum and navigate to home.
Tap the menu button in tbe top left corner
In the open drawer, Tap "Account".
Tap the "Delete Account" Button.
In the delete account screen, select a reason for deleting the account and optionally leave a comment.
Confirm deletion by typing in the confirmation phrase to the text field.
After adding the correct confirmation phrase, tap "Confirm Delete" button.
Your account and its data will now be deleted and you will be logged out.

By downloading, installing, or using Feed Drum, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.
Feed Drum is a news feed aggregator that provides access to news and content from pre-determined, official news sources (the “News Sources”). The App serves as a platform to connect users with these News Sources. Feed Drum do not create, publish, or modify the content provided by the News Sources. In case functionality add your own news sources is provided in the future, the same terms would apply to users’ own news sources.
All content in pre-determined news sources accessible through the App is provided directly by the respective News Sources. Feed Drum do not control, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided by these News Sources. The inclusion of a News Source within the App does not imply endorsement or responsibility for the content provided by the News Source. Any content from user added news sources also are not controlled, verified or endorsed by Feed Drum.
Feed Drum and its developers, employees, and affiliates (“We” or “Us”) are not liable for any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the content provided by the News Sources of any type. Feed Drum holds no responsibility for any decisions made or actions taken based on the content accessed through the App. The App is provided “as-is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Use the App and its services for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the App and its services.
Not attempt to reverse engineer any part of the App or its related services.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the App and its services.
The App may include links to third-party websites or content. These links are provided for your convenience and do not signify our endorsement of such websites or content. Feed Drum is not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of third-party websites.
Feed Drum, its trademarks, logos, and other proprietary information are property of the Developer. All trademarks, logos, and other proprietary information displayed in the App are the property of their respective owners. The App may include functionality that allows you to share news items or content from the News Sources. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any sharing of content complies with applicable laws, regulations, and the terms of use of the respective News Source. Sharing functionality is provided as a convenience and does not imply that Feed Drum or its developers grant you rights to reproduce, distribute, or modify the content of the News Sources beyond the scope of their policies or permissions. You may not use the App to engage in unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or any other use of content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of the News Sources Feed Drum or any other party.
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting in the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
